I joined Man v Fat just over 2 years ago. When I joined I was really struggling with my mental health and I was overweight. I joined mainly for my mental health as I did not know anyone in Blackpool and needed a reason for getting out of the house again. I was on antidepressants and in counselling. Since I have been on my Man v Fat journey, I have lost a lot of weight and feel good about myself. I am no longer on any antidepressants or in counselling. I feel really grateful to be a part of this great group of lads. Monday nights and 11 a side matchdays are the highlights of my week. The Gaffer Gary Mcfarlane has done a great job of putting the 11 a side team together. Anyone interested in signing up should! It's a great laugh and it's made me fall in love with football again.
